Doggy Day Out will be a great event with many activities on offer. It will be an exciting free event which is coming to Burke Street Park, Warragul on Sunday 28th April from 10 am until 2 pm. All bookings and more information can be made at this website.
Doggy Day Out is sponsored by Baw Baw Shire Council, Boomtown Pets and Pet Emporium and will feature:

Activities for dogs and their owners
Dog training demonstrations
The event aims to bring the local community together and celebrate all that is good about being a dog owner. It will also aim at educating the community on responsible pet ownership and the wellbeing of our pets.
The Baw Baw Shire Council will be offering free pet microchip scans throughout the day. Doggy Day Out is supporting the charity organisation Greyt Greys Rescue Incorporated. This is a not-for-profit organisation who are dedicated to the rescue and adoption of ex-racing greyhounds.
Program of Events Dog and Owner Yoga - Yoga is a great way to revitalise your body. It can improve your health, increase strength and flexibility and reduce symptoms of stress, depression and anxiety. Now you can do yoga with your dog and this can help build the connection you have with your pet. It can also help to relax your pet at the same time! It will be on from 1:15 pm to 1:45 pm and bookings are essential. The cost is just $5 with all proceeds going to Greyt Greys Rescue Incorporate.
Meditation Meditation is a practice of focusing your mind on a particular object, thought or activity. This can help with awareness and achieving a clear and emotionally calm and stable state. Holly from Deep Breath Yoga Community will take this class and it will encourage you to focus on yourself and stop thinking about the outside distractions.
This activity will be on from 1:45 pm till 2 pm and the cost is just $5 with all proceeds once again going to Greyt Greys Rescue Incorporated.
Dog Agility Activities You can try your dog out with some agility equipment. Practising agility is a great way to create a strong bond between you and your dog. It can be lots of fun for you both. The agility zone is free to use and includes tunnels, jumps, weaving poles, doggy splash zones and ball pits.
Watch as Beyond Obedience demonstrates their training methods and results. Their training methods are based on leadership, trust and consistency. This can bring amazing results as their training methods are proven. They use positive reinforcement and voice control.
Times for these sessions are 10.15 am, 12.15 pm, and 1.15 pm and it is free to watch.
Does your dog have what it takes to win a competition? Categories for this will be best trick, most obedient, cutest dog over one year, and cutest puppy aged 0 to 1 year. Winners will receive an award which they can treasure.
The times for this are 11:20 am till 12 noon and cost is a gold coin donation.
