Take a tour of Pizzey Park with Super Dog Milo
There's a little dog called Milo who fancies himself as a superhero. His favourite place to go to show off his super doggy powers is Pizzey Park, at Miami. To Milo, Pizzey Park is Doggy Heaven. Like all good doggies, he straps himself into the car and waits for his chauffeur to take him to his destination.
He goes berserk as soon as he gets there and can't wait to jump out of the car. What's all the excitement, you might be thinking? Freedom! No harness attached to a leash. Milo reckons it's as liberating as being naked – which he usually is when he isn't wearing his Super Dog cape.
Milo barks his orders to the chauffeur to hurry up and park the car so he can get out and pee. All those lovely smelling trees and shrubs are delectable to his nostrils. He jumps out as soon as Master opens the door.
Ah! All those smells, but first, he must sniff out any signs of danger – you know, territory invasion by undesirables. He normally does one lap around the lake to make sure there are no pooches in need of his Super Dog services. Meandering through the spooky forest is tough on the paws with all those pine cones.
A quick visit to Swan Lake to visit the Black Beauties. Yes, of course the ducks are cute too, and it's not really called Swan Lake. I just made that up. Milo likes to think he's very sophisticated. He likes to make out like he's going to the opera, or something. Who knows what goes on inside a dog's head?
For goodness sakes, she's stood him up after all. Being a Super Dog has its downfalls. Always being called out to save canines in danger, the fame, the pressure. Milo knows exactly where to pick up a new beauty. Yep, the skate park. The B's go wild as soon as he gets on that board.
And now for my next trick,' barks Milo with confidence.
Yep, that will do it every time. Milo now has a stream of B's following him around so where better should he take them to show off his canine muscles? You guessed it – the obstacle course. It's where he does his Super Dog training to keep himself in tip top shape so those B's heads keep turning. Part of being a Super Dog means participating in sport activities. It's not only great exercise but it's very mentally stimulating. After all, you've got to prove that you've got the doggie IQ to go with that irresistible body. Under that cape and mass of black curls is pure muscle!
Who made up the myth that wearing a cape makes you a superhero? And so, Milo was walked back to the car on his Master's shoulder. So he gets a little scared at times? He'll always still be Super Dog even if he does look like a breakfast morsel for those HUGE dogs to nibble on. Nothing will ever stop him from keeping Pizzey Park safe from an alien invasion of cats. Pizzey Park is a Doggies Day Out. Beware felines!
