If you love music and you love dogs, then combining the two results in a day of sheer bliss. Returning for its fifth year, Melbourne's adorable Dogapalooza is on Sunday 10 November 2019 and is one music festival that you don't want to miss.
Once again Dogapalooza is taking place in Richmond's Burnley Park, you'll get to enjoy a wide range of live musical talent and best of all, share it with your two and four-legged best friends.
The music line-up is still to be confirmed, however, a number of food trucks have been announced including Dr Hofmanns Pizza, Woking Amazing, Gfree Donuts, Lets Waffle N Shake, Pookie May, Quintessence Patisserie and Jerry's Vegiburgers. Need something to wash down all the tasty food? Who else but Moon Dog Brewing will be on hand to keep your thirst quenched throughout the day.
With the last four years selling out, don't miss the opportunity to grab your ticket and start grooming your pooch to look fab on the day. VIPs get their own fenced off area with the best views and have their own toilets and shaded area. Meet and mingle with Oscar from Oscar's Law and maybe some other surprise celebrities. You'll also receive a special doggy bag filled with goodies, including a Dogapalooza stubbie holder and a free beer from Moon Dog Brewery.
If you miss out of early dog tickets, second release ones will be available until 13 October 2019, with final release tickets made available after that. Get in early and save money so you can spend more on treats.
As well as great music, food and all the doggy cuddles you can handle, there will also be dog washing available, prizes and awards and adoption groups on hand. Who knows, you may even find yourself a new best friend.
Burnley Park (Yarra Boulevard) in Richmond, covers more than 6 hectares, overlooks the Yarra River and is close to Bridge Road and Swan Street. The park's spacious grounds include a large off-lead area for dogs.
