When Valentine's Day has come and gone and there is no significant other in your life, why not consider this. A speed dating event where you can find the dog of your dreams! Dogs are cute, provide great company, are always happy to see you, never argue and give you lots and lots of love. Or even if you do have a human partner but are looking for that special, cuddly pet to complete your household here is your chance.

Pet's Haven Animal Shelter has set up this unique speed dating event together with Yarra One to give some lonely dogs the opportunity to meet their future owners and buddies. Pet's Haven do a fantastic job of looking after unwanted pets, so why not help them in any way you can, whether adopting a pet or donating a bit of money.

If you already have a dog, bring them along too for some yummy dog treats on February 17 from 12-3pm. There will be "pawtraits" taken and healthy treats from Get Wag.
And for you, the accompanying human, Pidapipo will be on site with their famous (and free on this occasion) ice cream.

If you do make the big step to adopt (and remember pets are for life, not just Christmas or Valentine's Day), your new 'fur-ever' friend will be kitted out in only the best leads and collars from Animals In Charge. Your new dog won't get lost either as Leash It Trackers will notify you when they wander too far off to smell the trees.

If having a dog is not allowed where you currently live you may consider looking at some pet-friendly developments at the same time. For more details on the new Yarra One development in South Yarra, please visit Yarra One website.
