This is a dog show that is huge and such fun
The Dog Lovers Show is coming to Moore Park! It returns to the Royal Hall of Industries and Hordern Pavilion for a fifth year of "pats, licks and parades" on the weekend of 4th and 5th August.

Many people regard their dogs as family and many of us know what utter joy it is to have a dog as a pet and how much love they give to humans. This show is a tribute to the unconditional love that we share with our dogs. At this show, we will celebrate, interact and learn more about man's best friend, the dog.

The Dog Lovers Show will attract thousands of loving dog fans who will help to celebrate the "noble four-legged monarch of human companionship"!

Man's best friend

Some of the features of the Dog Lovers Show include the following:

The opening ceremony will feature a brand new show with Dr Katrina Warren. Also appearing will be Kelly Gill and the talented Wonderdogs. There will be entertainment by Rodney Gooch and his height-defying 4 Paws Sports Team.

Returning again this year, will be the dedicated "puppy cuddle zone" which was so popular on other years.

At this event, there will be many fur babies waiting to be adopted by you. There will be dozens of rescue groups from across NSW in the Adoption Zone. In this Zone, you can find out what is actually involved in the process of adopting a dog.

Learn which dog to adopt!

Plus, "DockDogs" will also be back, featuring a competitive long jump and high jump for those dogs that are talented and want to go into a pool of water. There will be high diving hounds in this BlackHawk "DockDogs" pool.

But hang on - the idea of this is to cuddle the fur babies!

Those of you who are punters can make their way to the Pat-a-Pooch zone. Here you will be able to cuddle up to a wide range of Australia's most lovable and popular breeds from puppy to adult dogs. Some of them you may find are snooty dachshunds to fluffy samoyed dogs. This has been the main attraction at previous year's events.

There will be over 500 beautiful dogs and more than 120 different breeds. You will see the most talented fur babies showing us their speed and agility in the Royal Canin Arena.

You will be able to find the perfect dog for your own lifestyle here.

There will be some very talented dogs in the inaugural CommonWoof Games.
