Some of us own dogs that are not well trained. Some of us are good at training, whereas others (like me) are not so good at this!
This list will help you pick out a class that suits you for whatever you want your dog and yourself to learn.
1. Good Dog Masterclass: Calm Canines
This will be on 25th June 2019 from 6.30 pm to 9.00 pm. It will be held at Work-Shop Melbourne, 195 Argyle Street, Fitzroy.
This is hosted by
Good Dog Behaviour and
Work Shop Melbourne.
If your dog is a ruffian or perhaps has boundless energy, there is something you can do about these bad habits. There is a class for "peppy doggos and their humans,". This class will aim to teach your dog how to behave well.
A dog who is taught to be calm and relaxed is far more likely to be included in your lifestyle and some of the events you go to. Make sure your pooch is trained, so that you would be able to take him anywhere you go!
At this class, you will be taught some fun and simple ways to teach your hound to relax at home and in public. The class will cover relaxation cues and teaching the dogs to settle down. This will be done using play to instil an on/off switch, and a foolproof way you will always be obeyed!
You will also learn how your behaviour affects your dog's behaviour and some common mistakes people make. This is a fun and informative class for dog owners, shelter workers, foster carers, veterinary staff or anyone with an interest in training dogs.

2. Loose Leash Master Class: Brad Griggs
This one will be hosted by
Pro Dog Events.
This class will be on 28th June 2019 from 7.00 pm to 9.30 pm. The class will be held at Pro Dog Events, 2D/19-23 Paramount Road, West Footscray.
Brad will take this class and he has an over 16-year dog training career. Over this time, Brad has earned a reputation as one of Australia's most experienced and skilful dog trainers, with a number of specialist skill sets. He has a keen interest in working dogs and owns two Belgian Malinois.
Loose leash walking is often something that people struggle with achieving. There will be a strong focus on reinforce-able behaviours in this workshop.
All dogs coming into this class or their premises must have a C5 vaccination or equivalent and they must be up to date with their worming/flea/tick treatments.

3. Managing a Multi Dog Household: Sep 20th with Trish Harris
This is also brought to you by
Pro Dog Events.
It will be held on Friday 20th September from 7.00 pm to 9.30 pm. It will be on at Pro Dog Events, 2D/19-23 Paramount Road, West Footscray.
Trish Harris is the owner of Four Paws K9 Training. In this business, she provides all levels of dog training, socialisation and educational services. Trish is a published author of When Three's a Crowd, Managing a Multiple Dog Household. She holds regular and varied seminars and workshops on a range of dog behavioural issues.
This workshop will guide you on key information and strategies, helping you prepare for the introduction of a new dog. It will also teach you about safe as against risky dog interactions - which is very important when taking a dog out in public.
You will hear about various triggers leading to aggression and how to recognise that you may have a problem about to happen. There will also be plenty of management strategies talked about.
This workshop is suitable for dog trainers and anyone who has multiple dogs and it aims at keeping the peace within this pack.
