At Chelsea Park's annual Dog-a-thon Fun Walk you can support three great causes, a local rescue, an international rescue, and the Chelsea community while enjoying a family fun event that includes live music, doggy yoga workshops, and doggy portraits by local artists. "It's a PAWfect opportunity to get the family together, buy some treats for you and your animal friends, enjoy the food stalls and festivities whilst raising money for the local animal charity, Hear No Evil Deaf Dog Rescue, and the international animal charity, Canilos Animal Foundation in Lesvos Greece."
Sofia Vatos of Eview Chelsea, and her furry companion
Dog-a-thon and family fun day was created by Peter Gourdouros and Sofia Vatos, who remains involved in the local property real estate, Eview Chelsea, and through this family and pet-friendly event, she found a way to give back to the community and support our amazing companions: dogs. Melissa Yu from MCO Events is the current coordinator of this family fun day and promises it will be bigger and better than the last two Dog-a-thons. "Come and share all the hard work we have put into this, because… we are nothing without our community!"
Families with their fur-babies enjoy a fun day at the Dog-A-Thon and Family Fun Day
It will be "a jam-packed Sunday Funday" with loads of Food Trucks, Market Stalls, Kids Zone, Live Entertainment, doggy portraits, lots of prizes, and giveaways to be won for the best-dressed pets and for the whole family. And dog yoga!
So grab your favourite furry best friend, your family, and join the Chelsea community to celebrate 2020's Dog-a-thon and Family Fun Day.
