Event:
Dodge, duck, dip and dive your way to win
There are some events that cross all boundaries of fun and this is one of them. When was the last time you spent a Sunday dressed as Little Miss Piggy throwing foam balls at your opponents?

This event will have live DJ's, Budweiser beer from the sideline, and all the money raised will go towards Project Futures - an Australian charity committing themselves to protection of young women who are traded for money in parts of Australia and South East Asia.

This year, Urban Rec plan to host twenty teams spanning over six Dodgeball Courts, and hope to raise $5,000 for Project Futures.

This is guaranteed to be a staple item in the Sydney sports & social calendar and an absolute attend for unlimited fun and also to help out a good cause.

You can sign up as teams or a solo dodger on their website, or if you are more of a sideline cheerer you will be able to do so and enjoy a beer watching the fun and finals from the sidelines. If you do not know how to play dodgeball that is no excuse to not attend, as there will be Urban Rec staff onsite to teach new players.

The day kicks off with Bubble Soccer for everyone to try and bounce your way through a short soccer game that will leave you exhausted from both getting off the ground and laughing yourself silly!

To keep those taste buds satisfied there will be food stalls on-site, prizes for best dressed, and Tournament play off's as the day draws to a close.

So gather your mates together and bring your own team for an event that is surely going to tick those 'fun' boxes.

Some notes on the event:

Teams of six players minimum can compete on a side and others to be available as substitutes.
- Dress up as crazy as you can - this is highly encouraged
- All equipment is provided at the event
- If there is wet weather, make sure you check their facebook, twitter, website and text message for details to see if the event will still be held.

For information on public transport and car parking please check the website.
