Doctor Earth is the health food store and beauty emporium that everybody loves. It is conveniently located near the train station in the heart of Bondi Junction's outdoor shopping corridor. This review focuses on their extensive range of vegan beauty products although Doctor Earth offers much more such as tasty health foods such as tamari almonds and services such as holistic health care consultations and an herbal dispensary. They do counselling, kinesiology, reiki, reflexology and massage – see the staff at the counter to make a booking.

Now let's explore the skin care; the best of vegan cosmetics and skin care. I have tried the Biologika Veggie Cream and found that it is fantastic. It is made with pure organic ingredients and is not tested on animals. The Mediterranean Bliss enriched with tomato, olive, carrot, corn, pumpkin and cucumber oils is a rich and nourishing skin treatment for only $9.75 (or $8.78 for members). Look for the blue label. The cream is thick but sinks into the skin well and as it absorbs you can feel it softening your skin. It is lovely and well priced.

La Mav Organic Skin Science is a range that I have not come across before so I decided to give it a try. I was pleased with the results. The Sweet Orange Foaming Cleanse feels gentle and fragrant. The scent of citrus is subtle and refreshing. It is $29.95 (or $26.05 for members). The purifying toner is great for oily skin and it feels very nice to use. It has a subtle scent of natural oils. It is a bit pricy for a toner but it really does work well. It is $27.95 ($24.31 for members).

Springfield's Botanical Gentle Bamboo Exfoliant uses very fine Bamboo molecules to remove the impurities in your skin. You will feel fresh faced and glowing after using it. It is on offer for $24.95 for 120ml (21.71 for members) and you will only need to use a small amount to get good results. It could last for at least a month.

Lavera Naturkosmetik is another interesting vegan organic brand. They have a fabulous repair & care intense treatment. This is great for damaged hair. It smells strongly of rose, which is pleasant. It contains organic rose and plant keratin and is completely vegan. My hair has been damaged through constant dying and this product was fantastic at repairing and softening my hair. It seems to fix months of damage. For a few days after using this treatment I was feeling so beautiful. You will find it to be a great product to use if you have an event to go to or a party to attend. A great quick fix. It is $19.75 ($17.77 for members) they also do a repair and care shampoo and conditioner (200ml and 150ml respectively for $15.35 each (or $13.81 for members).

For those with a larger budget, you must try the Grown Alchemist range. All organic and botanical based ingredients it is wonderful. I would highly recommend the Hydro-Repair Day Cream 100ml ($69.95 or $60.85 for members). It is very good for repairing the appearance of fine lines around the face and I found that it reduced the look of crows feet around my eyes after only a week of using it. The Grown Age-Repair Serum 30ml for $94.95 ($82.60 for members) is refreshing and seems to soften the skin of the face. It is a great indulgence and you will feel like you are living in luxury by using it daily. Their Anti-Oxidant Serum is quiet popular and feels silky to the touch. It is more reasonably priced as $59.95 for 25ml (52.16 for members).

Evohe is a brand that was completely new to me. I found it to be very subtle and useful. The Repair Intensive Cream is very rich and quiet thick. It seems to absorb well and really does wonders in re-hydrating dry skin. It is not cheap however at $47.90 for 100ml ($43.11 for members) you may be tempted to use it up very fast. The Omega 3, 6, 9 Face Serum is featuring exotic ingredients such as Arctic Cloudberry, Goji and Sea Buckthorn $56.90 for 100ml ($51.20 for members). Their foam wash with Amaranth Extract and Coconut oil foams up perfectly and you can get 60ml for $30.90 ($27.81 for members).

If you love your styling products then you really must try Karpati Sculpting Putty it is $27.00 for 100g ($24.30 for members). It suits all hair types and is versatile so that you can use it to finish off whatever hairstyle suits you. They do a great silicon-free conditioner, which is a bit pricy at $33.00 for 400ml ($29.70 for members), use it together with their Straight Mate sleek finish detangler for dead straight hair for $27.00 ($24.30 for members).

So there you have it a guide to the best of vegan and organic beauty at . There are so many products to choose from. It is delightful to see so many cosmetic and beauty companies with good ethics who use only the finest ingredients. It gives me hope for the future. It will give you a radiant and youthful look.
