Kids go wild
Looking for somewhere to let the kids have some outdoor time close to the city? Docklands has a whole range of play spaces for the young and the young at heart to get out and about and enjoy the waterfront area.

Slides and rubber matting for even the most enthusiastic kid!

I took my four-year old nephew to Docklands South Park, it caters for the younger kids and is an interactive open space right next to the web tunnel. There are tunnels, slides, colourful rubber matting and loads of things to hang off and swing on, my nephew enjoyed launching himself off the slide and racing through the tunnel.

Loads to explore

There's plenty of outdoor tables for parents to sit at with clearly marked toilets nearby and during the week many of the workers take advantage of the sheltered spots to enjoy their lunches.

For nearby apartment dwellers it's these sorts of spaces that help make Docklands more friendly and create an interesting atmosphere for visitors and families alike.
