The Docklands Sunday Market is held every single Sunday from 10am until 5pm at Waterfront City/New Quay Promenade on the water in front of the restaurants. The entry is off Docklands Drive via Doepel way, the New Quay piazza, Rakaia Way or Harbour Esplanade. Thanks to making such an impression on the State Government, The Market has been asked to participate in this year's Australia Day event again on Monday 26th January 2015 from 12pm to 10.15pm.
There'll be special food stalls for the day in the activities area, plus 20 eat on the run food stalls. You'll find an amazing variety of multicultural food plus a lot of staple favourites, desserts, ice creams, iced teas and other beverages and much more.
In the past it's been said that the Docklands Sunday Market is dynamic and a hybrid of a European market, such as in London, Paris or Barcelona, with an Australian accent, such as Hobart's Salamanca market. This variety market has gone from strength to strength and has stalls filled with arts, craft, crystals, recycled items, toys, kids clothing, jewellery, photography, handmade soy candles, soap, cards, bonsai, sweets, liquorice and lots more stalls than I could list here for you to discover.
As you can see from the videos below of last years Australia Day event, it's not something you would want to miss. Come on down and check it out. Enjoy lots of free fun activities with your family and friends and stay for the biggest fireworks ever.
If you're a stall holder and want to join CLICK HERE for the application form. Generally NEW Stall Holders are welcome to come on the morning of the market to register. However I'd check if I were you for this special Australia Day Event. Contact details are as follows: - Mobile: 0412 910 496. Email: firstname.lastname@example.org (cc: email@example.com)
