The City of Melbourne is introducing an exciting new Docklands festival this May. The Docklands Harvest Festival offers 2 days of live music, activities, workshops food and drinks to keep everyone active ahead of winter. Running from 19 to 20 May, you can join local families and businesses who call Docklands home as they celebrate the precinct. Here are some of the Harvest Festival highlights:
1) Velvet Archers (Friday) - live music from this three piece folk band
2) Meat and greet (Friday and Saturday) - brisket, pork and ribs cooked up by Southside Smokers
3) Twirled pasta making (Saturday) - cooking demonstration of delicious homemade pasta dishes using local sourced ingredients by Twirled Pasta Bar
4) Hands on gardening for kids workshop (Saturday) - children can learn how to grow fruits and vegetables at home and decorate a seed bag.
5) Tea and chocolate pairing workshop (Saturday) - Vue de Monde's original tea sommelier Sarah Cowell will share her tips for pairing tea and chocolate.
