Free Live Music

Now that restrictions have lifted and we are all excited to go to live events, why not start at the Docklands next weekend?

The District Docklands presents DISTRICT LIVE Summer Music Sessions, a weekend of free live music. Melbourne is celebrating our love of live music with performances from local artists, DJs and bands.

Live music to enjoy at the District Live Docklands

Joe Camilleri & The Black Sorrows Trio will headline the launch of District Live on Friday night 26th November with support from Scott Darlow and Abbey Stone. Daryl Braithwaite will headline the Saturday night (27th November) with support from Abbey Stone and Tim Henwood. Please note registrations for free tickets are now closed, there may be further tickets released, so please check here.

There there are still plenty of spaces at The District to enjoy the live music outside of the ticketed area as you wander the open-air laneways of The District Docklands. Lots of upcoming young artists will ensure you have a great musical night out.

This free, live music initiative coincides with The District Docklands' exhibition Pasted and Wasted Music Poster Expo, featuring more than 800 posters that contain thousands of historic music moments from Nick Vukovic's private collection. Pre-booking is essential, so to buy tickets and learn more about the exhibition, check it out here.
All attendees will be required to check-in using the Service Victoria App and show proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 at the time of entry to the exhibition.
