Want a belly laugh? The Docklands Arts and Laughs Festival runs from October the 3rd until October the 7th. Festival events will be held at venues throughout Docklands including Harbour Town, Waterfront City and New Quay.

Many of the events are fundraisers for The Big Umbrella charity and a gold coin donation will give you entry while supporting this great cause. Big Umbrella Panoramic Prints is an exhibition featuring photos taken by The Big Umbrella Team and is showing in the foyer of the NAB Building 2/800 Burke St throughout the festival.

Highlights of the festival over the weekend include:

Saturday the 6th of October
Puppets in the Park will amaze and delight the kids with free performances from Lindy Jane, Snap Crocodile & The Amazing Drumming Monkeys at Wonderland Fun Park.

At the Gala Show you'll see comedians Jimeoin, Greg Fleet and others perform on the stage from 8pm at Wonderland Spiegeltent. Tickets are $25 or $20 for a concession and can be booked by phoning 9602 1311.

Sunday the 7th of October
Sunday is the official 'festival day'. The Docklands will become a hive of activity. The Sunday Docklands Market is on and roving performers, stilt walkers and bands will be there to entertain. The New Quay Main Stage will come alive with free performances from
11am until 2.45pm.
