Just under the new Decco apartments in Ivanhoe is DOCASA!
A modern cafe and restaurant with a bright interior that is filled with hanging plants, light birch furniture, round mirrors adorn the walls and friendly waiting staff.

The menu has a great selection for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
Tossing up between the pan-fried gnocchi, the stuffed zucchini flowers and polenta chips, I opted for the latter.

A crisp polenta crust on the outside and creamy texture on the inside, just the way Dad used to make polenta at home. Seasoned with truffle and parmesan, aioli to dip your chips in and garnished with mint pesto. WARNING: these are moreish and highly addictive!

I managed to devour about 4 polenta chips before I took this photo, so you actually get served about 6-8 fairly large cut chunks! Yum.
