Tucked away in Glen Iris is a great little art spot. Well, its not really an art spot. Its a place where aspiring framers work and develop their skills.

Its quite an amazing place and once you've learnt the skill of framing, you can go on to master it. I'm not talking about framing people, well, maybe a portrait or it could be a landscape. Paintings. Its art framing. This is about learning the art of picture framing. There are so many styles of frames to choose from to suit your personal style or the particular artwork you are working on and the art framer is you.

The Do Your Own Picture Framing Co. is exactly that, a great place with interesting, creative and inspiring people who will guide you through a workshop to provide you with the skills to frame your own art work.

Workshops and classes are held on the premises. You can gain a wonderful sense of achievement and feel that you personally have designed, and then frame your own work or a treasured art piece.

The courses are run in 3 sessions of 2 1/2 hours each on the same day, each week in the evenings, from 6.50pm until 9.30pm.

Weekend workshops run between 10.20am and 1pm on Sundays.
