AdoptionSA is bringing the Australian DNA Hub to Adelaide to host a FREE Introduction to DNA Testing Information Evening on Friday 2nd September 2016.
Running from 6.30pm to 9pm, in a relaxed and social atmosphere, the information evening is presented by Kerri Small of the Australian DNA Hub. DNA Hub formed in 2012 to help others who are affected by adoption when there is little or no paperwork to connect adoptee and family together.
Are you interested in DNA testing, but have hesitated as you're unsure how it works, or what the first steps are?
During the evening Kerri will explain:
There will also be a Q&A session to answer particular questions you may have.
Held in the Marjorie Black Community Room, South Australian Council of Social Service in Unley, this intro session is not just limited to adopted people and their relatives. Anyone who hasn't yet taken the plunge into DNA testing but is interested in learning more about it is welcome.
There is also a workshop on Saturday 3rd September with a few spots left for those who have already done their DNA testing and would gain from small group coaching on how to get the best out of their results. The workshop has priority places for adoption affected people.
