With Christmas just around the corner snapping at our heels, it makes sense to shop stress free at night, and pick up something unique to boot. D.J's Night Market is going to give you that opportunity. Market day is on Friday 25 September 2015 from 5.30pm to 8.30pm (please note new timeframe) at the Lynbrook Community Centre (behind the shopping centre), 2 Harris Street, Lynbrook. Your $2 entry goes straight to the Melanoma Institute Australia, a charity that D.J's support.

Only its 3rd market, D.J's is as polished as any other well established market. Perhaps it has something to do with the market organiser's experience with her day time market, simply called D.J's Market. As an aside, the next day market (10th Oct) will have a Halloween theme so make sure you don't miss that one either.

This night market spills out all over the Lynbrook Community Centre with a variety of stalls and a dedicated children's area. You'll find children's goods in that area along with a very talented face painter in the form of Fairy Heather Frankish to keep the young-uns happy. This market is full of surprises with unexpected guests at times in the past, like superheroes and musos, not to mention visits from their mascot, D.J the Lion. It's also a giving market with prize giveaways through your treasure hunt card which you'll get upon your $2 gold coin donation.

It's not unusual to find little kids scurrying around getting their cards stamped and getting little gifts along the way from stallholders, to go into the prize draw. D.J's 'Buy It, Earn It, Win It' gives you an entry to the prize draw for every $10 you spend.

The smell of popcorn wafting past your nose from Fun Foods Popcorn and Fairy Floss will be a reminder to take a break and have something to eat. There's lots of other food available at the markets, including dim sims and dumplings for the first time this time.

Kara Lorgelly Photography runs all sorts of mini events, so talk to her if you're looking for that personal family picture to include in your Christmas cards. Simply Beautiful Decals can transform your room with their beautiful removable wall decals and quirky cushion covers. Pick up some winter bargains from PossumDesignz and own your very own hand knitted marino treasure. Best of all, join D.J's Night Market event page to read more about and see some of the stallholders that are coming.
