I love Melbourne and keeping my finger on the pulse of this great city. Known as the Woodpecker to my friends. Don't ask why :-)
What a Hoot DJ's Night Market is
DJ's Night Market at Lynbrook Community centre is very community focused. So much so that they would love to hear from you and encourage you to ask about their free community service stalls. Groups such as Girl Guides, Scouts, Lions Club etc amongst those DJ's have supported in the past and even the Glenbrae Celtic Dancers received their support in helping them fundraise for their trip last year via a sausage sizzle. See further down for details of the organiser and how to become a part of this friendly local market.

DJ's Night Market is well known for its children's activities and on April 28th guess who will be visiting? Someone most children will know really well.

Fun filled night
Guess who is coming to visit kids?

Forever listening to their visitors for ideas and inspiration on how to improve they are introducing a "Preloved Corner" this month, where people like yourself can apply for a stall for no cost but you will need to pay a $10 admin fee for insurance. Places are limited so if you have some items lying around that are in good clean condition perhaps it's time to set them free.

This month you will find Sam's Cake Revolution front and centre with delicious passion fruit yo yos, cup cakes, slices and even a special treat for the kids with a cookie decorating table, free with any purchase or just $2 a cookie.

Other stalls will include, Kids Gear, Paul Sadler Swim School, Robyns Nest, Phoenix Trading, Yayme! and Cranbourne Cubs will hold a bake sale and sausage sizzle. You'll also find John's Fridge Magnets, Tassies Treasures and many more.

Plus for a gold coin donation you can participate in the Treasure Hunt. Simply find the stall holders named on the back of the card, some of which will have treats to give you. Complete the card and go in the draw for a great prize. Donations go to the Olivia Newton John Wellness Centre.

The best part about this little market is that it's totally indoors, so you are bound to have a fun night regardless of the weather.

The special guest pictured on their flyer will arrive around 7pm so make sure you tag along and get your photo taken with him.
