The blooms at Divine Flowers are just that – divine. Stepping through the matte black doors and past the curbside display of rich and textured plants and resting on a rustic ladder, I discovered that this innovative Newmarket florist designs flower bouquets, posies, vase arrangements, new baby hampers with flowers and gifts and stock exotic orchids, lush indoor plants and designer ceramics.

Prices vary according to the selection of flowers and gifts but as a guide, bride's seasonal posy (20cm) are from $190, mum and baby gift hampers are from $55, pure indulgence truffles at $18.50. Check out Divine's website for a full list of products and prices.
The store recently relocated from its previous home just 500 metres away in the Newmarket shopping centre and can now be found in this stand alone former corner store opposite the Wilston train station. Pleasingly, the only thing that has changed is that the somewhat larger shop allows for more browsing space and even more room to display the gorgeous flowers and gifts.
With Christmas just around the corner, Divine may have the answer to finding that special and precious gift. They offer corporate and personal gift packages which are simply luxurious, with French champagne, exotic orchid plants, premium chocolates, and designer homewares. I think I will be adding this to my Christmas wish list.
Divine provide same day delivery for orders made by 1pm on Monday to Friday and 10am on Saturday which is convenient. Street parking is available, a bus stop is right outside and the train station is opposite.
Drought tolerant options for a Qld summer
I left the shop feeling even more uplifted than when I arrived and felt sure that Divine flowers will warm hearts, soothe souls and bring colour to that special someone's day.
