Recently opened near the Mawson Lakes branch of Fasta Pasta , specialises in offering Vietnamese cuisine that has a bit of a fusion flair to it. Aside from the dishes on their regular menu, the restaurant also offers specials for those that like a bit of variety.

The rice in the Vietnamese Rice Clay Pot was light and fluffy and there was a sufficient amount of Vietnamese sausage, lemongrass chicken and prawns to impart a delectable savoury flavour. Leaving the rice to sit in the pot for a while is advised to allow the rice to develop the crust that you would expect from clay pot rice. While tasty enough as it was, soy sauce with chilli was provided on the side to add more flavour.



The "pizza" part of the Da Lat Vietnamese Pizza referred to a base that resembled an omelette which was light and crisp. There was enough shrimps, roasted pork and pork floss to make eating it a satisfying experience, with spring onions giving it a fresh experience. A drizzling of lemongrass sauce over the dish brought everything together. It was already cut into portions to simplify portioning it out to diners.



While we would have liked the Vietnamese pepper sauce in the Wagyu Penne to have more pepper flavour, the wagyu beef was tender and the penne pasta was cooked al dente. Additional texture was provided by the onions and capsicum slices, with the capsicum imparting a slight sweetness to the dish.



The décor of the restaurant gave it a modern and clean feel. If you are looking for a place that offers Vietnamese cuisine slightly different from the norm, consider giving a visit.
