Live performance of a Disney favourite

"The flower that blooms in adversity is the rarest and most beautiful of all." So is the inspirational quote from the Walt Disney 1996 film, Mulan. This May and running through to July, the Brisbane Arts Theatre is presenting a stage version of this Disney favourite.

Set against the backdrop of ancient China, Mulan is the empowering story of a young girl who bravely disguises herself as a man in order to take her father's place in the imperial army. Based on an ancient Chinese folk story, Mulan is filled with villains and heroes and lively, powerful songs and dance performances.

The Brisbane Arts Theatre is an independent theatre company with an 80-year history of producing and delivering quality live stage performances in its Petrie Terrace premises. This quaint theatre seats 150, delivering a space where the audience feels close to the performance. So, why not support local talent and local theatre this winter and get along to this Brisbane production of Mulan.

Check out the Brisbane Arts Theatre website to purchase tickets. Performances, including matinees, will be held on 2pm Saturdays
2pm Sundays (selected weekends only), and 11am Tuesday to Friday (July school holidays). Doors close 5 minutes prior to performances and late entry is not permitted.
