I recently went out to the cinema with my friends to see the Disney film, Beauty & the Beast 3-D, and once again, I fell in love with the characters, especially the young character of Chip the teacup.

So when I came across this little gem of a book in a secondhand bookstore, I just had to purchase it. Disney's Beauty and the Beast: A Story for Chip by Golden Books, first attracted me as it is one of the "Golden Little Super Shape Books"; it almost looks like Chip could jump right out of the front cover.

This is the perfect book for children, who are not only fans of Beauty & the Beast, but are also ready to try reading a book that's got a few sentences on each page. The book is wonderfully written by Rebecca Bondor and beautifully Illustrated by Darrell Baker.

The book follows the story of Chip, the little teacup, who decides he wants one more bedtime story, before bed. He makes his way around the castle, asking all his friends to tell him a bedtime story.

The book was originally published in 1994.
