Sand Sculpting Australia and the City of Onkaparinga presents Disney's Princesses & Pirates in their intricate carved glory, in the sunshine, at the beach. Throw in some ice cream and you will have ticked every box on a child's ideal day wish list.

Veterans of more birthday candles and more Disney movies will excitedly spot Cinderella, Belle, Jasmine and others. Disney's Princesses and Pirates will be created by ten of Australia's best sand sculptors.

Port Noarlunga beach will become a fairytale wonderland as over 150 tonnes of sand is carved into spectacular sand sculptures of Disney's much loved Princesses. Peter Pan's arch enemy Captain Hook and his mischievous band of pirates will also be in on the fun.

The amazing sand sculptures will be resisting the elements from Saturday 4th of April until Sunday 19th April 2015.

There will be other children's activities on offer, including Sand Sculpting Workshops, Sand Art, Sand Bottles, Sand Diggers, children's activity sheet, interactive sand sculpture, Lego play zone and the Disney colouring zone.

If you visit over the Easter weekend (Saturday 4th of April to Monday 6th of April 2015) children can enjoy the famous Sandsational Easter Egg hunt.

Weekday hours are 10.00am - 4.00pm. On Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays you can view the sculptures from 10.00 - 6.00pm. There is an extra late opening until 10.00pm on Saturday the 18th of April when you can visit both the Sand Sculptures and the Beachside Food and Wine Festival at the same location.
