New to Canberra, I love exploring this city and the secrets that it holds with my family.
School holiday drawing fun at the National Museum
These school holidays The National Museum of Australia will be having an interactive drawing activity called "History of You", which relates to their exhibition "A History of the World in 100 Objects". Children bring in an object or toy from home to draw at the activity, which tells the story of their life in 2017. They also make a time capsule with a small soap carving, identity badge and a photo of themselves on the day. Artist and educator, Naomi Zouwer, will also be there to help with the drawing activity.
Cost: $10 per child. Your Discovery Space ticket also entitles children to half-price exhibition entry ($4) and two accompanying adults per child entry at the concession rate ($15) to the exhibition.
