Discover a new way to enjoy your Brisbane backyard by locking in a date to visit Discovery - Mixed Artist Exhibition this May at Bean in Brisbane City. This event is a great way to explore an eclectic selection of Brisbane's art at a trendy underground, alleyway specialty coffee house and bar.
Designed to showcase and celebrate local Brisbane talent, Discovery, displays inspiring works from six local artists; Eri Yamaguchi, Luke Bamkin, Lauren Simpson, Leon Zhan, Celeste Fishburn, and Eugenie Zhan.

You'll be sure to find a piece that you connect with as the artists have more than 40 creations on display for us. The mediums on display include; painting, pen & ink drawing, digital art and illustrations, masks, fashion illustration and modelling work.
Bean's menu has something for everyone – vegans, vegetarians, carnivores, omnivores, craftbeerivores, cocktailivores and caffeine addicts, alike. Bean also has a myriad of board games for you to play for free whilst enjoying the art, free WIFI, food and beverages on offer.
To discover Bean, you'll need to keep your eyes peeled as it is tucked away in one of Brisbane's alleyways just off busy George Street in the CBD. It is located at Laneway, 181 George Street, Brisbane QLD 4000.
Bean is easily accessible by CityCycle, public transport, paid street parking or paid secure parking at the Myer Centre or Elizabeth Street car parks.
The official opening night will be Friday 4th May between 8pm and 11pm where you have the chance to meet the artists in person. The exhibition runs from 3rd to 30th May on weekdays only. The opening hours are from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday to Thursday and until 11 p.m. on Fridays.
