Critique is an art form that requires a light touch, with a splash of irony and good humour to soften the blows.
Event:
Gardening Gurus Go Green on the Goldie
Bring nana and the kids to the Gold Coast Regional Botanic Gardens for a day of gardening and science fun. There will be music, food and plants to buy, and special interest workshops. Celebrity gardening gurus will be on hand to provide tips and advice on plants for Gold Coast gardens, backyard biodiversity, budget gardening, and special activities for the kids to dig and get dirty! And you can even bring along your temperamental plants to the plant clinic! This is a FREE community event proudly sponsored by the City of Gold Coast.

Gold Coast Regional Botanic Gardens
It's free to visit the park, where there's an experience for everyone - smell and touch plants and flowers at the Sensory Garden, explore local plants in the Mangroves to Mountains walk, visit the native Butterfly Garden or smell the roses in the Rose Garden. Suitable for all fitness levels with flat level tracks.

Open year round, from 5am to 7pm each day. Check out the GCRBG website to see all the facilities, including barbecues, shelters, picnic areas and walking trails, and to view the map of the Botanic Gardens.

Fun for the whole family includes a stroll on the boardwalks around the lake, a children's playground or a picnic in one of the many picnic areas. Freshly ground organic coffee, loose leaf teas and gluten-free treats are also now available every day from the Friends Centre.
