Discovery in the Gardens (DiG)
Bring nana and the kids to the Gold Coast Regional Botanic Gardens for a day of gardening and science fun. There will be music, food and plants to buy, and special interest workshops. Celebrity gardening gurus will be on hand to provide tips and advice on plants for Gold Coast gardens, backyard biodiversity, budget gardening, and special activities for the kids to dig and get dirty! And you can even bring along your temperamental plants to the plant clinic! This is a FREE community event proudly sponsored by the City of Gold Coast.
ABC radio's Kate Heffernan is a specialist in Australian native plants and creating sustainable gardens using regionally native plants.
