Named in honour of an Australian women's cycling team member who tragically died while training, Amy Gillet Bikeway promotes the joy and safety of cycling. The bikeway is 15 kilometres in length and features a paved off-road path suitable for biking, running and walking. Each year, the Adelaide Hills Council's Discover Play Pathway celebrates community, supports healthy lifestyles and promotes outdoor activities, cultural understanding and community engagement.
The family-friendly event will take place on Sunday the 2nd of March 2025 from 9am to 3pm. Activity hubs showcasing a range of cultural and outdoor experiences will be located at Woodside and Mount Torrens. You can expect food, arts, crafts, workshops, market stalls, roving entertainment and face painting as well as a Touch-a-Truck experience. Entry is free.
