Hosted by Christian Wright, a professional photographer with over 15 years photography teaching experience, this course is open to everyone - from complete novices to experienced photographers.

Christian has worked as a photographer for various sporting codes including the AFL, V-8 Super Cars, and the A-league and he has extensive commercial experience in portrait photography, event photography (including the ARIA awards), and corporate promotional photography. Under his guidance, each tour participant will learn how to make the most of their digital SLR camera or compact digital camera.

The course will begin at 2pm in Circular Quay and as the group visits the various attractions of The Rocks precinct, participants will become more confident using the manual options on their cameras. Christian, in particular, will demonstrate the art of subject selection, image composition and proper camera handling - through these principles, tour participants will achieve more professional and creative shots.

Plus as this course is conducted in a small intimate group (maximum of 8 participants), Christopher will be able to offer each tour participant personalised advice; regardless of whether you want to familiarise yourself with the basics, improve your technique and style or learn about exposure, shutter speeds or depth of field, Christian will be able to help.
