I am a world traveller & a mom of two, (8 & 6). I love to meet people, and am fascinated that there are 7 billion stories out there to be explored. I think Melbourne is the most happening city to live in with all the fun activities around town.

Come in Empty-handed, Leave with Bags full
Only a few months ago, a new store popped up at Fountain Gate Plaza simply called Discount Lollie Shop.
There are many candy stores that offer mini scrumptious treats, but adding the word "discount" to its name makes the store very, very attractive. Located in one of the main corridors of the plaza, this store is always busy. Every time I have been there or passed by, there are plenty of curious shoppers filling their baskets with rare and discounted lollies.
Apart from chocolates and candies, you will also find chewing gums, pinatas, baking ingredients, drinks, jellies and other types of confectionery. The staff is always ready to help you when you are having a hard time in selecting or cannot find your favourite sweet-treat.
If you are at Fountain Gate, this store is well worth a visit, even if you do not wish to purchase anything. Just check out their products and I am sure you will agree with me that their name of "discount lollies" is definitely justified.
There's also one of these at Keilor Plaza. Cheap, cheap lollies and chocolate!!! I spent $40 in there last time. The Hersheys fudgesicles are fantatic but I'm not a fan of all the other water icy poles.
