Dating back to 1525, the legend of DISARONNO came about when Leonardo da Vinci's underling, Bernardino Luini was commissioned to paint a fresco of Madonna of Miracles in Saronno. A beautiful local innkeeper was chosen as his muse and she repaid the honour with giving the artist a flask of fragrant delicate amber liquid of amaretto.
Fast forward to modern day times and DISARONNO is known for its distinctive stopper, iconic square faced glass bottle and is regarded as an icon of style, sophistication and also as a magic mixer with drinks.
To celebrate the world's favourite Italian liquer, DISARONNO Terrace is coming to Sydney at Watsons Bay Boutique Hotel from Sunday 19th October 2014.
With a world wind tour of Italy, the United Kingdon, Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, Canada and the United States, DISARONNO Terrace Sydney is coming to occupy Watson's Bay Hotel's top deck overlooking the water view and the amazing skyline of Sydney.
With the sounds of Sydney's hottest acoustic musicians and DJ's, the famous DISARONNO sour cocktails and delicious Italian treats, the rooftop will be transformed to a chic lounge space where Sydneysiders can sample a taste of the 'international Sunday session'.
