Event:
Wild Women adventure overdose

Born out of her desire to showcase the strong, inspirational, adventurous women of the outdoor world, professional adventure photographer and film maker Krystle Wright presents the Dirty Girls Adventure Film Tour - a carefully curated 90 minutes of 9 short heart warming and entertaining films celebrating women in adventure from independent film makers from around the world.

These films will surely entertain, enthral and enlighten you. Who knows, they may even inspire you to get down and get dirty and seek some self-prescribed escapism and celebrate like these wonderful wild women, who don't mind getting a little dirty in their pursuit of adventure.

Screening for one night only at The Capri, Goodwood on 25 July at 8.30pm

See overwhelming and amazing experiences as these women push themselves to great extremes to get that special incredible camera shot.

Meet 91 year young Gwen Moffat, Britain's first female mountain guide. See Gwen's infectious excitement for a life constantly seeking something strange or beautiful around the next bend.

For a shot of inspiration with German adventure duo Aline Bock and Lena Stoffel ski explore the back country and surf frozen waves in Japan.

With professional skier and adventurer, Kalen Thorien explore the back country of the Sierra Nevada on a 430km during her 18 day solo hike .

If rehydration is your thing - take the plunge under the Arctic Ice with Finnish freediver, Johanna Nordbl who holds the world recording for freediving 50 metres under ice wearing only her swimsuit. Discover the beauty of swimming naked all year round in the lakes of northern Wales with Natasha Brooks.

And for a good dose of laughing therapy, struggle with Lauren Hill as she struggles with the pressures to look perfect in the surf scene.

Discover where the wild women play with Krystle Wright , as she hangs out from a helicopter shooting film strapped in a harness with her feet resting on the copter's skids. "It's a very subjective thing," says Krystle.

And do these ladies get battle scars from things going wrong? replied, Krystle, "I have a scar on my fore-head. A broken ankle from ski-ing and my knees and hands have a fair share of injuries."

Krystle said, "But, I have learnt that accidents are all about learning. I can only control what I can."

"Am I a perfectionist? I need to accept, that sometimes I can miss that perfect camera shot. One time I was on a ski shoot and I spotted this coyote running across the slope. By the time I would have got my camera out he would have gone. So it was nice to just sit there and observe him and watch the moment unfold. It is one of those moments I captured as a wonderful memory."

For some of you seeing Dirty Girls Adventure Film Tour will be pure self-prescribed escapism as you watch these wonderful wild women getting a little dirty in their pursuit of adventure.

Remember: Screening for ONE NGHT ONLY.
