It's rare that a wide range of artists and genres comes together perfectly in the sort of shows that are presented at a Fringe Festival. Of course, the variety is the idea of a Fringe Festival - but with Dirrty , it all meshes so well.

As the name implies, Dirrty pushes the edge of acceptable taste - all with a tongue (I think) firmly planted in cheek. That would be your mouth cheek, but you could be excused for thinking it's the other sort of cheek.

Elena Gabrielle hosts a show that includes Lady Bird Blue, Charlie D Barkle, Marcel Lucont, and Zia Electric. Elena bursts out of the blocks to open the show in a way that ensures the consistency and energy is maintained throughout. One thing is for sure, you know what you're in for as soon as the lights go up. This isn't a show for the prudes among you, but if you like your cabaret, songs, dance, and cabaret a little on the spicy side of saucy, this will suit you down to the ground.

Marcel Lucont is the epitomy of understated French humour, and Charlie D Barkle is at his consistent best. Zia Electric and Lady Bird Blue provide original and provocative cabaret interpretations of their dance routines. Elena Gabrielle links it all together with some great songs and acts.

While this is definitely for adults only, if you want to have some late-night fun and laugh out loud with performers who obviously love what they've created, make sure you don't miss Dirrty.
