Dionysus Winery is a small, award-winning family-owned and operated boutique winery located in Murrumbateman. Owners Michael and Wendy O'Dea planted their first vines in 1998. They opened their cellar door in 2003, and since then, more than 20 000 people have visited.

Dionysus Winery is open for tastings on Saturdays and Sundays from 10am to 5pm. A tasting fee of $5 allows you to taste the whole range of wines. Alternatively, you can go for the premium tasting option ($10) which allows you to taste the full range of premium wines and savour platter of local produce including cheese, cold meats and crackers. Even better, you can also have a personalized wine tasting experience with the winemaker which includes a glass of wine and cheese plate. Cost is $50 for two people. Bookings are essential for this experience.
The Winery also offers coffee and light meals which include cheese plates, home made sausage rolls, and scones with jam and cream.
Dionysus Winery is located at 1 Patemans Lane, Murrumbateman, just a short 35-minute drive from Canberra.
Open on weekends and most public holidays (closed Good Friday, Christmas Day and ANZAC Day) from 10am to 5pm.
