Previously seen at the amazing Dinosaur Adventures display in Caulfield earlier this year, a collection of historic gargantuan animatronic reptiles will be taking over the mall in an exhibition set to amaze both young and old alike.
Dinosaurs Return to Eastland
See true-to-life dinosaurs including everyone's favourite meat-eater; the Tyrannosaurus Rex, the larger than life Brachiosaurus, ground stomping and spiked-back Stegosaurus, as well as the screaming Velociraptor.
These captivating life-size creatures will come to life in front of your eyes. From the glint in their own beady eyes, screeches, roars and movement, you will think dinosaurs are back from extinction, transported into the heart of Melbourne's favourite shopping centre in the East.
As well as the display of realistic life-like dinosaur animatronics that will leave you in awe of the reptile beasts that stomped our land before time, the exhibition also includes an interactive Dino Dig. Your children can try their hands at being Palaeontologist for the day, with the opportunity to chip away at a fossil in their very own special digger's outfit. There are different fossils to be discovered each day, with a dinosaur fossil to take home.
Another dino related activity that the kids will love is the egg-cellent opportunity to be snapped inside huge dinosaur egg, leaving you with a life-long momento of your family visit.
If that isn't enough to tempt you into Eastland's prehistoric world, there are a number of competitions to take part in, including: Snap a photo with a Dinosaur
A daily winner will be selected to win a $50 Australia Geographic voucher after submitting a photograph taken in photobooths located outside Big W and Centre Court to create your very own prehistoric photo in the Jurassic Jungle.
With a chance to win a $200 Eastland voucher, tag your dinosaur adventure photos with @eastlandshoppingcentre #dinosaursreturn to Instagram.
