The dinosaurs are back. But you don't have to be scared, these are the nice kind of dinosaurs. You and the whole family have the chance to step back in time over 66 million years. Once upon a time, dinosaurs roamed the Earth, and now they are back and better than ever. This started back in 2016, and since then it has been getting bigger and better than ever. This is going to be bigger than the dinosaurs! The
DinoFest Perth- Age of the Tyrannosaur is going to be so incredible, not only for the kids but for adults and fans of Jurassic Park too.
Roaming through Kinds Park, you are going to be able to see Tyrannosaurus Rex, Triceratops, Stegosaurus, and even the Carnotaurus. These meat eaters are not going to hurt you. What's more is, you will also be able to see some sweet little dinosaur babies.
Seeing the dinosaurs might just help kids to spark an interest in history or science. They can get their hands on some real dinosaur fossils and feel them with their own hands. They can do some Dino Digs, and get dirty finding dinosaur bones. Or they can take part in some fun arts and crafts. They of course, also get a 45 minute Dinosaur Encounter where they can get up close and personal with the dinos. And you can all even get dinosaur (temporary) tattoos!
The DinoFest is held within the grounds of Kings Park, so you can spend the day checking out the beautiful trees and plants. Some of the plants and trees that we still have today were also around in the Jurassic Period when the dinosaurs ruled the world.
Why not have a picnic on Kings Park grounds and show your kids the different plants that the herbivore dinos would have eaten?
If you want to take part, then head to Kings Park between Saturday, 24th of June until 16th July. The doors to this dinosaur park open from 10:30am to 12pm every day. Tickets start at $28.38, including fees. Just don't try to clone the dinosaurs and you will have a great time.
