SAHMRI (South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute) is holding a public event aimed at promoting science in the community and educating people on living with Diabetes.

Diabetes is becoming a silent epidemic in the community. This event is aimed at healthy living and will include a panel of experts in the area of diabetes. Topics of discussion by the panel will be future therapies, nutrition, complications of diabetes, community support for people living with diabetes or those keen to prevent it and wanting to have a healthy lifestyle.

The dinner is diabetes friendly and at the end the public will have the opportunity to engage with speakers via Question and Answer style question time. It's a fun and interactive way to learn more about science and raise awareness of diabetes in the community.
