Are you brave enough to eat a meal you can't see? For those with impaired vision, 'dining in the dark' is not a new concept.West Australians are being invited to gain new insight into what everyday life for people with vision impairment is like by taking part in a dinner party where guests are blindfolded. is an opportunity for people to host a dinner or office party with a difference while raising money for Guide Dogs WA.

Hosts can make their own rules by either choosing a portion of the meal that guests must remain blindfolded, or they could simply save on electricity and switch the lights off completely or light some candles.Guests are asked to donate to the charity what they might pay for such a meal.

Money raised from will go towards the food, veterinary care, training and ongoing assessment of Guide Dog puppies, as well as our other services for West Australians with vision impairment.Dinner parties can be held anytime in October or November, with the official date for the campaign being on Halloween; October 31.
