Calling all Australians! 1 August to 30 September 2016 is Dine At Mine time. A national fundraising event that launched in August 2013, Camp Quality have been helping to raise money and awareness for children living with cancer. Their goal this year is to surpass the million dollar mark, so why not pitch in and have a good time with loved ones at the same time.
How does it work? Too easy. You can make this event what you want; be it simple, creative or a themed fiesta to suit your budget. First, you set a date anytime in August or September 2016. Then you invite all your friends and family to a lunch, dinner, or BBQ, and ask them to make a donation to Camp Quality in return for their meal.
Your support will help Camp Quality continue with the good work they're doing to support families living with cancer. Their specially devised programs help strengthen the families with optimism and resilience. These programs give families some respite from the stresses of cancer.
Imagine for a second, what it's liked for two families to be told each day, that their child has cancer. By the end of the year, the amount of children living with cancer in Australia would fill Sydney Opera House. Please help, so Camp Quality can continue to support families through their cancer journey, from diagnoses through to heart breaking moments of bereavement. Help Camp Quality reach more than one in three children by donating, volunteering or attending one of their fundraising events.
