The Nudgee College DimensionsNC Art Festival is a cultural celebration showcasing artistic, musical and creative talent from members of St Joseph's Nudgee College in Boondall and the local community.

This four day annual event commences with the Opening Night Celebration Gala on Friday 4th September where all families and friends of Nudgee College, as well as the wider community are invited to enjoy inclusive entertainment by Nick Trovis Music , food, champagne and beer.


This event showcases original works from local artists and the creative and innovative work of Nudgee College's own, very talented visual art students. There are two successful Feature Artists this year with an additional Guest Artist and a selection of Previous Winners are also invited to return to display their works for sale across the event.

One featured artist is one of Australia's leading contemporary artists, Andrew O'Brien, who is known for his abstract works, which are strongly coloured and rich in texture.

Another featured artist is Leisa O'Brien who paints mainly with acrylics, sometimes oils and watercolours. Leisa's subjects usually revolve around her surroundings of the stunning pristine beaches of the Australian East Coast. She is greatly influenced by light and shadow and their subsequent effect on colour.


The Festival continues over the weekend until Monday 7th September so make time to view the art on offer and relax with a Zarraffa's coffee, accompanied with a Devonshire Tea of indulgent scones, cream and jam.

Opening times for the Dimensions NC Gallery:

Friday 4th September (Opening Night Gala): 7pm - 11pm
Saturday 5th September: 10am - 5pm
Sunday 6th September: 10am - 2pm
Monday 7th September: 10am - 2pm
