When you see Dic/ta/teur from the outside, you will realise that it's not an ordinary pub. It is not the kind of "another place to just have a drink at" rather than "it's a place where I feel comfortable and relaxed while having my drink at".

The place is a wreck. Literally. The chandelier is designed with yellow light bulbs, the furniture is unsophisticated and it all looks just like at the neighbourhood the place is located at.

Located in an urban area, which used to be the front lines in the civil war (where the name came from), it's precisely at Mar Mkhaiel, behind Mandaloun nightclub. The place respected greatly its ancient designed neighbourhood and intended to keep the place the same wreck it was, with slight enhancement in a step to make clients feel comfortable and relaxed.

The music is great. DJs play non-commercial house and indie everyday, in addition to fresh popular new releases.

Dic/ta/teur/ not only offers various variety of drinks and cocktails but also offers food. The pub's food is extraordinarily tasty, especially if you had couple drinks, you started feeling a bit tipsy and need a bite.

You can visit Dic/ta/teur/ on weekends from a 11:00 till 17:30 for a brunch to swap off last nights' hangover.

The place is good, "trendy" in its own way, not expensive and all in all worth giving it a try. Once you've gone there, you're going to always want to go there!
