I wanted to try out a new restaurant for a while, so I asked the people at work for a place I could try out for dinner that wasn't in Civic. I was recommended the Dickson Dumpling House by a number of people, so I thought that I would try it out. Upon arriving at 6pm, the restaurant was already starting to get rather busy.

BBQ pork bun
Once we got a table, we turned our attention to the menu and there were so many options to choose from. We definitely knew we wanted; the BBQ Pork buns, the special tri coloured dumplings, the honey chicken and the Shanghai Pork dumplings.
After ordering our food, we didn't have to wait long until the food started to come. While waiting, I enjoyed watching the other people enjoying the food and the staff buzzing around. Once the food started to come, the table was filled with amazing food.

Pan Fried Pork Dumplings
All of the dishes that we ordered tasted fantastic but my favourite was by far the Shanghai Pork dumplings. I loved the perfectly balanced flavours within the dumpling as well as the dumpling wrappings themselves.

Honey Chicken, Dumplings and Fried Rice
After stuffing ourselves with all the delicious food, we finally admitted defeat and asked for some takeaway containers to bring our lovely leftovers home.
