Free concert with Fremantle Chamber Orchestra
This is a not-to-miss free family event! Enjoy the Diamond Jubilee Celebration Concert while relaxing and enjoying a picnic at the heritage grounds of Government House on Sunday, 18th November, between 7:15 and 8:45pm. Better still, come earlier for the pre-concert entertainment at 5:15pm. There will be a variety of delicious international food for purchase.

The Diamond Jubilee Celebration Concert commemorates the 60 year reign of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. It is also the closing event for Perth Heritage Days 2012 featuring the Fremantle Chamber Orchestra with two of Australia's finest soprano and baritone singers, Sara Macliver and Andrew Foote. The concert is directed by musical director Mark Coughlan.

The concert program will line up music performed at the Coronation in 1953 and a little touch of opera. The audience will further be entertained with some songs from the most popular West End shows. A number of great British favourites including Land of Hope and Glory, Rule Britannia and the Warsaw Concerto will also be performed on the night.
