With the theme 'Celebrating Cultural Diversity', the Diamond Creek Rotary Town Fair 2016 will be a truly multicultural, multiethnic and multilingual affair. Submerse yourself in this global event that will enable you to see, touch and taste all the best many different cultures present in Australia have to offer.

This year the Diamond Creek Rotary Town Fair is being held on Saturday 10th September 2016. Festivities begin with the Grand Parade starting at 10am. Applications for the parade are still open and if you are part of a group who would like to be involved, please see the website for more information. The parade consists of colourful floats, exciting costumes and lots of sounds and colours, all with a special emphasis this year on multiculturalism and cultural diversity.

Following the parade you can truly celebrate cultural diversity by listening to stories, learning about international sports and exploring many of the different traditions and local customs.

Participate in some of the many activities. See demonstrations and displays, try tasty and perhaps new food while listening to live musical entertainment.

Previous year's festivals have included carnival rides and amusements, car displays, a CFA tug-of-war and even fireworks. So it's no surprise over 30,000 people from all over the state turn out every year for this event.

But be warned - Don't. Leave. Early. Stay on into the evening because you won't want to miss the unique Torchlight Parade.

You will find the Diamond Creek Rotary Town Fair at the Marrangook Oval, Main Road, Diamond Creek from 10am on Saturday 10th September 2016.

Diamond Creek is located approximately 30km North East of the Melbourne CBD. Please be aware of road closures around this event both during the morning and torchlight parade. If public transport is a viable option, passengers should catch the Hurstbridge train to Diamond Creek. The train station is only 100 metres from the fair ground.

Interested stallholders and entertainers should see the website for more information and booking form.
