Coming up to Christmas, a lot of people start thinking about what they can do to give back and help those less fortunate than themselves.

Whilst that is certainly a great thing to do, often charities get overwhelmed with support during the festive season when what they could really use is help throughout the whole year.

It's tricky when you are busy with family and work to volunteer your time but there is a wonderful solution!

You can be a Christmas Elf and help out a family with a sick child all year round with .

is the brainchild of Jess and Rhiannon who have both been touched by childhood cancer both personally and through friends.

Through their experiences, they knew that what families really need at this tragic time is help with everyday tasks. Someone to feed the dog or bring in the mail, maybe cook a meal or do some grocery shopping.



Just one small task can make all the difference and this is where is so powerful. It allows volunteers to sign up and offer any level of support they can by simply providing a police clearance and completing a quick phone interview.

Simple and such a valuable contribution to families who need the support of our community.
