How often do you take the time to just enjoy your family? These days we are all so rushed that we often forget to appreciate the support and love that surrounds us enabling us to get on with our day-to-day lives.
We love our Nana!
We love you Nana!

Di Farmer MP, Member for Bulimba, has decided it's high time we celebrated grandparents and took the time to thank them for being the wonderful role models for our children that they are.

On Sunday 6th November from 10 – 11.30am you can invite your grandparents to spend some quality time together with your family at a free event organised by Di Farmer's team. There will be plenty of activities to suit every age group from coffee and cake stalls for the older generation to face painting and a bouncy castle for the youngsters. Grandpa might be too big for the jumping castle but there's no age restriction on the "When I was young…" writing activity and display.

Grandparents will take home special memories of a fabulous day with their children and grandchildren and will also leave with goodie bags, family photos and even certificates that are available for children to give their grandparents.

Come on and join the fun – it'll make your grandparents' day!

* In the event of wet weather the festivities will take place at the same park but inside the Cannon Hill Stars Rugby League Clubhouse.
