Devils Marbles Hotel is located on Stuart Highway, of Ti Tree and South of Tennant Creek. It is a 5 minutes drive from popular tourist attraction Devils Marbles or Karlu Karlu in Alyawarre (pronounced Al-yow-worrah in a local Aboriginal language).
They are open from 6am to 11pm (or till late) for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner, also available for takeaway. With a hearty delicious menu and also a range of wine, Devils Marbles Hotel is for sure having something for everyone.
You might expect typical large-sized pub meals and outback staples such as the barra burger, steak sandwiches and burgers. Well, you are not completely wrong, but Devils Marbles Hotel Pub is serving more than just normal pub menu. With a twist of humour from the owner, you won't find any salad on the menu but rather a "Rabbit Food". Other yummy but unusual menu items are Pasture-Fed Scotch Fillet 180days from "The Paddock" section or "Boring Sh%#" (its actually for cereal) from their brekkie menu.
Another proof of a quirky sense of humour is that you can see some decorations or signage that will crack your smile, such as free wi-fi email (actually a typewriter). You also can see some old photos that show what the pub looked like in its heyday.
Even if it is a 'little' out of the way, for travellers who want to experience the hospitality of the outback with outstanding food and refreshments, Devils Marbles Hotel is a must stop place. Don't forget to join their Facebook page for their latest event and special offer.
