True Blood, Vampire Diaries, Fringe. There's a lot of supernatural stuff happening on TV, but why not step away from the picture box, and get the full 4D experience at Devilles Pad?

One of the only truly themed restaurants in Perth, Devilles Pad is like being inside a movie set. See, hear, touch and taste a world you thought only existed in make-believe. Described as a 50's Las Vegas style supper club, the dedication to detail is what sets this venue apart from all others.

The walls are rough and stone-like to give the impression you're on the inside of a dungeon cave. Stalactites from the ceiling and a smoking volcano on the dance floor add to the ambience. Even the furniture and bar help to capture the theme, with twisted wrought iron, eerie red lighting, and a stage complete with cages. Big screens on the wall stream footage of 50's horror films, while Go Go dancers just go and go and go and go.
To complete the fantasy, Devilles Pad staff dress in dramatic gothic-style outfits, wear make-up to match, and appear to get a lot of enjoyment staying in character for the entire night.

Open Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights, if you get in early enough you can try the very unique, very delicious American-style cuisine. With menu items such as Hellapeno Poppers (roasted Jalapeno peppers filled with cream cheese, herbs and paprika), and Devilles Hot Hickory Hog smoked pork BBQ roll, you won't know where to start. Or, if like me you love your cocktails - you'll know exactly where to start. The cocktail menu will have you oohing and aahing all over the place, especially with their grand range of Absinthe and liqueurs to spice up the selection.

After dinner, you'll want to stick around for some equally unique entertainment. Every Friday and Saturday night you'll be treated to magicians, burlesque dancers, sideshow acts and more, while Thursday nights you can lend your voice to some Rock'n'Roll Karaoke. The regular live bands cover a plethora of genres from Rock to 60's beat music, with plenty of themed events popping up throughout the year.

The only catch, or benefit - depending on your individual preference, is Devilles strict dress code. As an 'over 25's preferred' venue, it will pay to dust off your best outfit for the night to make sure you pass the markā€¦.but hey - what better excuse to glam yourself up for the evening. It will also ensure you can enjoy your evening without being bothered by the less mature young crowds you might find at other Perth night-spots.

So next time your friends complain about wanting to do something different, or you just feel like escaping into a whole new world, Devilles Pad is eager to suck your blood, I mean, eager to shake up your evening, with some truly unique and memorable entertainment.
