See the Melbourne 'only locals know'
You won't find these hidden gems in your guide books, and you won't mistake your Detours guide for a Tourism Victoria employee. Sassy and smart, Sophie knows her stuff, and it's more than gloss and gossip about the World's Favourite City.
Laneways and arcades of one Detour
Sophie met us for our Melbourne 101 tour at Fed Square. Our two-and-a-half hour tour was a comfortable mix of facts, stories, conversation with her, and plenty of time for conversation with each other. A great balance of stopping and going, we covered about four kilometres total.
Hidden lanes, back-alley bars and boutiques off the beaten path, Melbourne is the quintessential "locals' town." Go on a Detour for the best "back ways" and short cuts, the urban legends, mysteries, and historical facts to know Melbourne like a local.
