Vintage & Secondhand craft bargains
Got the creative bug? Looking for quality craft supplies,second-hand and vintage wares? Then head down to Wynnum on Sunday 19 February where Brisbane based BrisStyle are hosting a Destash Market on Sunday 19 February from 10am-2pm at the Wynnum Community Centre, 105 Florence St, Wynnum.
The Destash market is a simple idea, and provides an opportunity for makers to buy and sell craft supplies with like-minded creative people. It's great for those who are cleaning out their supplies and the organisers see it as "a great chance for them to be put to good use by being up-cycled, recycled and reused."
Look out for some bargains with many makers selling their seconds and sample stock.
Destash markets will have a myriad of items from vintage tea towels to Japanese fabrics, mannequins, beading supplies, vintage teacups and saucers, buttons, yarn, knitting and crochet supplies, glass bottles, vintage doilies, patterns, sewing supplies, paper and everything else in between.
Entry is FREE so all are welcome at this unique event. Parking is available on site and why not try some of the Wynnum Cafes that will be open. Little Gnome bookshop and café in Florence Street is open with the new Wynnum Coffee Club close by on Bay Terrace. Frenchies is a short stroll away on Bay Terrace, where your pooch is welcome whilst you sip your latte.
